Histograms are used to show variation in data. This histogram is showing how long it takes to recieve a contraceptive order. You can clearly see that most orders take about 4 weeks, however some orders come in as little as one while others take up to six.

Box plot
This is a box plot, box plots are used to quickly show the median and the quartiles of a set of data. In the example the median is between 60 and 80 and is approximately 75. Box plots can also be used to quickly calculate the inter-quartile range and to find any outliers (or discrepancies in the numbers).

Stem and Leaf Plot
This is a stem and leaf plot. It's purpose is to organize a set of numbers, as you can see from the example the numbers are in order from least to greatest. That is what stem and leaf plots do, order numbers from least value to greatest.
